[abstract] We are living in an era where various new technologies are being developed under the theme of the 4th industrial revolution. In the healthcare industry, which has recently received a lot of attention due to COVID-19, emerging new technologies have been lit up as a medium to create various opportunities. In this session, I’d like to talk about how the metaverse is connected with the medical field and how it can affect the human lives of the present and future from various viewpoints with empirical examples.

The Hanyang City Wall Time Machine Project is a digital restoration project centered on Gwanghwamun. It investigates the distribution status of cultural heritage within the city wall area, collects and connects individual literature data, and builds big data based on historical evidence. It is a project to build a virtual four-dimensional space through precise measurement, restoration, and reproduction of buildings, and as a result, big data and immersive contents to be used in related businesses and the private sector in the future.
